While Albo spent his time at the DigitalLife Holiday expo getting the specs on a metal box full of expensive home theater equipment, I gravitated more towards the booths with pleasing cartoon shapes. I would up at the display for Npower, Nickelodeon's new line of consumer electronics for "kids of all ages" or, to put it another way, actual kids and dorky adults.I was particularly entranced by this itty-bitty SpongeBob camera. It's more fashion statement than gadget, as the resolution tops out at 640x480. But hey, it's only $20 bucks and the design is pretty remarkable, particularly because the thing looks like the mutant offspring of SpongeBob and Plankton, the villain of the series. Surely I am not the only one who sees this.
