Trailer and Gameplay from the Penny Arcade Game

If'n you don't know by now, the fine millionaires folks at the very funny gamer webcomic Penny Arcade are putting together a video game themselves, entitled Penny Arcade: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episode I. Above is the trailer that (rather smartly) features the 2D cutscenes much more than the actual 3D gameplay. And after the jump are videos that spotlight the character creation system (your character will be a 3D model in gameplay and an actual fully animated 2D character in the cutscenes, which is tre cool) and the battle system.




You know, it's been a long time since I've played a non-swords and sorcery RPG (the original Fallout was probably the last), so I'm pretty pumped about the Lovecraftian 20's setting displayed here.
